The nakedness.

Now I don’t sleep naked often, I normally sleep with briefs or boxers or whatever, but last night I slept naked. I got home early, it was only like one thirty in the morning but I had a really bad headache. I have been really happy over the last few weeks because I am back into beer, I go on and off beer every now and again but I have been really happy drinking beer on the last few occasions. Last night Tom Wilkin had drinks at his, and I brought my keg that I didn’t finish from Nikki’s. It was still good, that wasn’t the problem, the problem was that I, for some reason, am sick of beer again. I struggled to drink what I drank, and I just wasn’t enjoying it at all. I don’t know what I would want to drink next time, but beer is definitely not it. I got moderately drunk off the keg though, but I felt more sick than drunk, and not vomit sick, just like, headache sick... like hangover sick... it was shit.

I got home at one thirty and walked into my bedroom, I started stripping all my clothes off as I made my way to my bed, throwing the clothes that I was wearing all over my room and I fell on my bed in my briefs or jocks or whatever you want to call them. I had a bad headache, and it was really, really hot. I took them off, opened my window to let in a cool breeze as I slept and I then sat under my covers, well not sat, it was more of a laying down manoeuvre, but I was lying in my bed naked with the blanket on me and it felt amazing.

I awoke at eight thirty in the morning to a text from Caitlin, which means that I was texting people drunk again last night, which was weird because I didn’t really get that drunk, but I still don’t really remember texting that well. I remember texting mum, saying that I might be home late but that didn’t really happen and yeah... I responded to the text and then went back to sleep. I slept for a further two or so hours before I was woken up by the sound of people. I forgot that mum and dad were having people over from Melbourne or something today; they said that I had to be awake at some point during the day so that I could see them but I ended up staying in bed, trying to fall asleep for a bit longer. I couldn’t sleep though, especially when they started talking about me, so I sat there listening. One of them said ‘where is Nicholas, I haven’t seen him since he was a little baby’ and mum said ‘he’s in his room, you should go and wake him up,’ and this scared the hell out of me, someone that I haven’t seen since I was a baby, which means I have no idea who they are was going to come into my room and wake me up... I was bloody naked...

I know that my other auntie was there, the one that got me that job interview, and she’s the kind of person who would just run in and grab the blanket and rip it off and get me to wake up. I got up on my own before anyone came in, I grabbed the towel that I use to dry myself after I shower and I wrap it around my waist so that if anyone sees me as I make my dash to the bathroom my genitals are kept covered. Lucky I did this because one of the family friends from Melbourne was right outside my room on his mobile, so if I made the dash naked none of this would have worked. I casually nodded and waved as I walked past. I haven’t seen him in years, so the reunion saw me in a towel and nothing else.

I showered and then made my way back to my room to get dressed. After I get dressed I walk out to say hello to everyone to see everyone ignore me, they were either too into their conversations to care about me or they just didn’t care at all in the first place. Mum then introduces me to everyone that I don’t know and then she starts talking about how messy my room is. Then one of the people that I have never met before, actually it was probably the one that I haven’t seen since I was a baby but anyway, she said ‘he just came out to say hello, not to get bullied by you’ which I was pretty happy about, I then grabbed some pineapple juice and made my way back to my room where I have been since. I am still here, I am just writing this. I hope this day picks up, because if it doesn’t I’ll probably just sit here all day playing Pokémon... which reminds me, I could be playing Pokémon right now... okay bye.

The blog about my friend.

So I just wrote this amazing opening sentence on Brett’s computer but then I realised his internet isn’t working, not only that but he also couldn’t find his portable internet stick thing that he uses for his internet. I probably could have used a USB and transferred it to a computer that had working internet but I thought of that after I turned his computer off. I was fairly disappointed that my amazing sentence has gone, like it was one of those sentences that really drew you in and you would be like ‘oh that is an amazing start, I’m going to read the rest of this,’ but now this will have to do, this really pointless sentence about my other, previous, better sentence.

Moving on from the amazing sentence that no one will ever know, I just wanted to say that Josh Breda is amazing. I don’t know if you all did this but I know that I did, and that thing is that when I was a kid I went to Harvey Norman and they gave out Mew in the game for free, so my brother brought his Red Version and I brought along my better, Yellow Version and we each got Mew. It was some low level, like level two or something but we trained it up quick and it became the dominating force for each of us. Until my brothers game was deleted by my cousin or something and he had to start again, Mewless. Last night, whilst watching Teeth; that movie about the vagina that eats penises off and stuff... anyway, while we were watching it Josh Breda told me that K-Mart are doing this special thing where they are giving away this Pokémon, I don’t remember what it is called but it is the best Pokémon ever, ever. Just so you know how good it is, Mew’s total stat number is six hundred, so is Dragonite and pretty much all the other Pokémon that are the best Pokémon. This Pokémon’s total stat is seven hundred and twenty.

I went with Josh Breda and Brett Aitken, Brett and I both received the dominating Pokémon and we were thinking what level it would be on. Mew was on level two or something when I got that, so this would probably be the same deal. Brett was saying ridiculous shit like ‘I hope it’s on level one hundred when we get it’ and I was just thinking, there is no way that it would be because it would just be too good, and it wouldn’t obey us anyway, we have like three badges or something. I get the Pokémon in my game, check its stats and see that it is actually level one hundred. My friend always wants to battle me because his Pokémon are way better than mine; I mean he has been playing for like thirty hours longer than I have. I thought it would be funny if I told him I wanted to battle now and used my level one hundred Pokémon to dominate him. The battle started as I expected, with him absolutely destroying all of my Pokémon with one Pokémon. He got down to my sixth Pokémon, which was my domination Pokémon, hold on I’ll just find out what it’s called so I can call it that from now on, just hold on. Okay so it’s called Arceus, I put the picture of this blog just as a picture of him... or her, just so you can see what he... or she looks like. Okay so he got down to my Arceus, I sent him or her out and before I could even do a single move, my friend turned his DS off.

Now I am at Tom’s house, Tom Wilkin that is. My friend is playing his Pokémon and I am writing this... My friend has really limited me in what I can say, because I wanted to say that I won the Pokémon battle before and all this other stuff but he said that if I disclosed this information about what happened or even who he is, he will bash the shit out of me. He said that he still wanted to be tagged in the tag thing in the blog but then I thought, he hasn’t really been mentioned so I don’t think he has even earned his tag. He has been tagged before, quite a bit actually but yeah... I guess I can’t mention him... Tom wants to go on his Facebook now because he doesn’t have Pokémon so I’ll just wrap it up here...

The Chronologically Ordered Blog.

It is weird, I mean I have done so much in the last twenty four hours but I am stuck sitting here with nothing to write about. I just got home from Villis because I haven’t eaten anything in way too long, before that I just got home from Brett’s house and before that we had crazy adventures, but instead of explaining what happened in reverse, I think I should start again and talk in a more chronological order of events, and for anyone who doesn’t know what chronological means, it is like start to finish. First we went to indoor soccer, and just for the record I was not wearing my lucky undies. We were playing a team that aren’t the best but they were meant to be decent, having the smallest crowd he have had in a while, Andrew kept a clean sheet as we beat them six nil.

After indoor we made our way to mine so we could grab my Nintendo DS and have a Pokémon night at Brett’s house. This Pokémon night soon turned into a random shit night as Andrew, Jack and I went to some little park thing to hide from Brett and Chris. Chris soon rang us saying that not only are the gang of forty nine out, but the police are also looking for us and so is a man with a gun. I don’t know if he expected us to believe him but we didn’t, but whenever he rang us, Jack always did the talking and he always acted really scared. They then said that they were going fishing or something and they were just about to go and pick up Aaron to go fishing, they asked if we wanted to come with them but we said that we were too scared from all the people that are trying to get us that night or something.

Just in case you didn’t know, Brett has a track on his iPod that is just a police siren, and his car speakers go fairly loud, so they were driving around with that on trying to scare us. We called Aaron to see if he even knew about this fishing trip that is supposedly happening, and he had no idea about it, so what we originally thought was true, that being that he wasn’t going fishing. We stayed in the bushes for some time longer before we saw what appeared to be Aaron run through the park with a big stick or rod or something as he yelled out things that I don’t remember. What first appeared to be Aaron turned out to be Aaron, when he got really close to us, and he was in the next set of bushes, we knew that it was him but somehow, he couldn’t see us at all. He couldn’t even hear us when the three of us were discussing whether we should jump out and beat the shit out of him, but that plan didn’t go ahead because we decided on plan B which was to run away. He saw us running away and chased after us for about two seconds, but after we escaped we saw Brett and Chris trying to drive after us. I felt like I was dehydrating so I stopped running and gave myself up, mainly so I could just get in the car and hopefully go and get a drink or something.

We made our way to Brett’s with Aaron and Chris, oh and Brett… I then had some water and went to bed. Now I don’t know exactly how much we slept, but I think it might have been four or five in the morning, but it was around five thirty when we got out of bed I think… Some time was spent playing Pokémon but there was definitely a lot of sleeping. We then had a swim which soon ended as we made our way inside for some more Pokémon playing, but then I made my way to Villis where I found myself devastated that the only schnitzels they had were pork, where I beef was my first choice followed closely by chicken. I ended up getting a pie, which as delicious as it was, devastated me completely. Then we made our way back to mine so I could grab my DS and then we went to Linou’s. We lost MEB and Alena on the way to Linou’s, well we didn’t lose them I just think that they might have been less interested in watching a movie called teeth about a woman that has a vagina with teeth that eats anything that gets put in it than we were… Tahlia left before we even started watching, leaving Breda, Linou and I to see something that left us all screaming and holding our crotches, happy that everything was still the way it was before we saw what we saw. Now I don’t want to ruin the movie for anyone, but let’s just say that this guy was trying to rape that chick with the vaginal teeth and he was left screaming as the camera panned down to reveal that he in fact was left with no penis. Karma’s a bitch isn’t it you rapist.

The job interview.

Today was the day that it hit me that school was over, and the next part of my life was about to unfold. I applied for a job online not too long ago at the Australian Tax Office and I recently got an email back saying that I have been advanced to the next stage and have been accepted for an interview. I went in this morning in a modified version of my formal suit, like it was the same suit but I had my school white shirt on underneath the suit jacket instead of whichever shirt I wore for formal, I can’t remember. Now my auntie works at the tax office, she’s the one that told me about this opening that I could go for. My auntie and another sort of auntie, like she’s a family friend that I think we are really distantly related to or something, I don’t know, but they have both been stressing for me making sure that I know what I am going to say in the interview and all that, they have been making me research what the job is, what it will involve me doing, who the chief of Australian taxation is... all these things and more just so if they ask me in the interview, which they said that they definitely will, I would know.

The interview was scheduled this morning at eleven in the morning and that is exactly when it started. I walked in to shake the hand of the first woman who was the question asker, and then I walked over to shake the hand of the other woman who was the one that wrote down what I responded to the questions with. I am fairly happy with how I went in the interview, and if all they have to judge is what I said in the interview and how my application and resume look, then I think I have a fairly good chance of getting the job. I am just angry that they didn’t ask anything about anything that I had researched and noted, as in nothing, they just asked me questions about what kind of a person I am and what I am good at and everything.

As much as I felt as though I was moving on in the world, I still felt like a kid, because I went there with my mum, and then she took me home and she said she wanted to get me a present because she was so proud of me. She didn’t really say she wanted to, I was just hinting that I want to get a Nintendo DS soon and the new Pokémon and mum said that she would just buy it for me because she is so proud, and this made me extremely happy. I got changed from the suit back into my normal shorts and a t-shirt and we made our way to EB Games where we bought a pre owned DS for seventy five dollars and Pokémon Platinum for fifty bucks. I traded in some shitty Xbox games to make the whole thing cheaper but it was still, probably the most amazing thing that has happened in a long time.

Now Chris just got here with his DS so I am going to let him into the house and we will just crank some Platinum all day, until indoor, should be amazing. Now that Yellow’s behind me I guess that there won’t be any more Pokémon updates for Yellow, this will be the last one. From now on, expect Platinum updates... man I’m so happy.

The Ticker Fish.

In case you don’t know, which you probably don’t because I don’t find it mentionable enough to put up here or tell anyone or anything, but in case you don’t know, I don’t like fish very much. Not eating fish that is, I love eating fish, but I don’t like fish when they are alive. I prefer swimming in a pool than a lake or something, just knowing that there is a chance that I could take a step and step on a fish or something kind of grosses me out. I don’t know why this is, but it just is, and that is why I didn’t have much enjoyment yesterday in my first day out of the house.

In my first expedition into the outside world, I went to Brett’s house for a swim, and what was going on there seemed much like what was going on in my own home. Everyone was just sitting around playing Pokémon, and this kind of made me a little bit angry because I was sick of writing blogs about Pokémon and if we all just sat there playing Pokémon then, once again, I would have nothing better to write about. They played Pokémon for a further hour or so, and I was wandering why I missed the outside world so much, I mean so far, it is exactly the same as the world that was in my room. Soon after Andrew evolved his bird thing into a bigger better bird thing we went outside for a swim. Now the reason I am calling it a bird thing is because I don’t know many... actually, any of the Pokémon after Gold and Silver. I know all of the original one hundred and fifty one, and I know most of the next hundred from Gold and Silver but anything after that I am completely oblivious towards. He was playing Pokémon Platinum, which is the newest one, and yeah, it confused me.

We went out for a swim and we started throwing the soccer balls in the goals that are in Brett’s pool. I then left the pool to take a piss in the garden because I have enough courtesy not to piss in the pool, and it was warm enough in there as it was... and I have a penis. I started pissing and then Andrew tells me that he found the ticker fish that is in Brett’s pool. My first reaction was the obvious, ‘what’s a ticker fish?’ but my next thoughts were more along the lines of ‘why is there a ticker fish in Brett’s pool?’ I didn’t really believe him, and I didn’t even believe that there was a kind of fish called a ticker fish, but it was enough to make me not go back into the pool. He said that it was hard to see because it was kind of the same colour as the pool tiles, but he saw it before and then it swam away really fast. I said that I didn’t believe him but then Andrew asked if I could hear the ticking, and I could.

I was walking around the edge of the pool, looking for the ticker fish. I couldn’t see it, but then I saw this brown blob thing under the water in the corner of the pool, I asked Andrew what it was and he swam over to it and said, ‘shit, that’s it.’ I got closer to the water and looked at it, but it didn’t look much like anything. Andrew just told me to come in, because it was just a ticker fish. I walked over to the house and called for Brett, because he was still inside playing Pokémon by himself because he said that he wanted to get his Eevee to level twenty six before he got in the pool. Brett came out and I thought to myself if I ask him ‘is there some ticker fish in your pool?’ and he said ‘yeah’ he could just be playing along, or it could be real, and I have actually gained no new information. But if I said ‘Brett there’s some fish in your pool,’ he would either say ‘yeah the ticker fish’ or ‘what?’ I told Brett that there was some fish in his pool, and just like I thought he said ‘what?’

I made my way to the pool, with the confidence I have never had before. The ticking was still happening, but it was the pool cleaner thing that goes around the pool. Something I also don’t like. I mean I don’t like swimming knowing that I might put my foot down on something that I think will be tiles and turns out to be this cleaning thing... and I am pretty sure that when I was a kid it nearly ate me once. My confidence levels dropped, as they did when I found out there was a ticker fish in the pool.

The last day of boredom.

Today was the day that I finished my schooling completely, as in nothing else needs to be done. I never have to go back there, I have no exams and I handed in my very last piece of work and now it is all done... it feels weird. It’s also weird how when I handed it in, I didn’t even get that sense of completion, I just handed it in, walked off, got home and now I am just writing this. I got more of a sense of completion when I found Articuno yesterday in that cave East of Cinnabar Island and then caught it with a great ball. That was amazing, not only did I not have to use my Master Ball, but I didn’t even have to use one of my ultra balls, I just used some shitty great ball that for some reason I still had and yeah, all done. I know have two of three of the legendary bird Pokémon, and I felt more accomplished about that than the completion of school... why?

I am getting sick of Pokémon Yellow version though. I am in the Power Plant looking eye to eye with Zapdos, I can’t catch it though, and it is being really annoying and it just... I don’t even know how to explain it; it just doesn’t want to be caught. I really want to get a Nintendo DS now though, I have been looking around and you can get them fairly cheap from places. I really think it is time for an upgrade, and I found out that in two thousand and ten they are releasing Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Silver was my favourite one ever, and this is a remake that looks so much better, has all four hundred and ninety three Pokémon and yeah...

This will probably be the last blog about Pokémon for a while now though, I mean I’m not sick anymore, like at all, so I’ll be going out and doing things that don’t involve my Pokémon. I haven’t been outside in four days I realised, and all I have done in those days has been Pokémon, and I was just thinking ‘wow, I am surprised that I have been able to write blogs about what I have done on days when I have been so sick that I haven’t been able to do anything but play Pokémon,’ but then I looked at the four blogs that I wrote and they are all about Pokémon... a few other things were thrown into the mix but yeah, I don’t know whether you enjoy Pokémon as much as I do, or whether you like reading about my Pokémon adventures, but I remember Christie telling me that I should have a Pokémon update in each blog, but these blogs have been nothing but Pokémon updates as of late because... yeah.

Yesterday though I did see Chris and Andrew, and we did talk to Michelle on the phone. I didn’t talk to Michelle much, Andrew hogged the phone through the whole conversation but it was still the social highlight of my day. I have missed out on a lot of good times these last few days, but it was when Jack called me when it really hit me that I was missing out. He called and said ‘Cosma where are you? Me and Tom are sitting at mine drinking beers listening to Calvin Harris,’ and I was so sad, because it just sounded like one of those things that I love to do. I can’t wait for this Saturday because they said that they are going to do it again, but just us three, and Calvin Harris. I can’t wait for my play date with Sheri; I can’t wait to go to the bay with everyone and just chill and of course I can’t wait for the next party, so I can get fucking drunk as and party...

I feel like I haven’t left my house forever. The last time I was out of my house was Thursday night, and I didn’t really do much then, we just went to Villis and then for a swim and all that, but I have actually been sitting in my room since then, doing nothing but playing Pokémon Yellow Version. It definitely shows that I have been doing nothing else, I mean I have played for twenty two hours and twenty two minutes, and I have all the badges, I am about take on the Elite Four and I have the most amazing list of Pokémon ever. I am in that cave thing, leading up to the Elite Four and yeah...

I remember joking about how in the school holidays, all I would be doing would be playing games and writing blogs, so the blogs would just be like ‘I played Xbox today, and I got past the fourth level in Halo’ but this is ridiculous. Tonight (this originally said last night but I put this blog up alot earlier than it was meant to be put up so I had to change it, you will understand when you get to the end of this and you will see why I was so excited so I had to put this up early, and I know that this is the first time I have used brackets I think, and it is because I hate them, anyway, I am going to exit these brackets so yeah, bye) was Halloween, and instead of doing one of many things that I could have done, I did nothing. I wanted to go out, you have no idea how much I wanted to go out, but my parents assured me that if I went out I could infect other people, and they actually used the word infect. I felt like a zombie, or at least someone who was bitten by a zombie but hadn’t yet turned into one because they hadn’t died yet, so they carried the zombie virus but they weren’t a zombie yet.

From around six at night onwards, I spent my night listening to Prodigy, playing Pokémon and getting up every now and again to give chocolate to any kid who came to the door. I wasn’t that fussed when the first bunch of kids came, one had a scream mask on, and the other few did something, I can’t remember but they looked rather Halloweeny. The next kid that came was by himself, on his bike, and I asked him what he wanted, and he replied with ‘chocolate or lollies or whatever’ and I told him ‘you should be dressed up or something, and you didn’t even say trick or treat,’ and this kid looked a lot older than the last bunch that came. He then said ‘yeah I’m a biker, can I have chocolate or something?’ so I told him to hang on for a second as I walked over to the kitchen. I walked past the chocolates that mum told me to give anyone who came, and I opened the fridge to find some old sausage that was lying in a plate. I contemplated giving him the sausage, but I thought that it would be a little harsh, I mean what if that sausage was saved for mum or dad or someone? So I picked off the end of it and walked over and gave it to him, the kid replied with ‘what the fuck is this?’ and I told him ‘it’s the end of a sausage. You made a poor effort trick or treating, so I made a poor effort getting you candy’. I don’t know what the kid did with the sausage, because I closed the door before I could get a response, but I can only assume that he was very unhappy with what he got, and he didn’t eat the sausage, he just dropped it or something. That is just what I assume, I don’t know, nor do I care because this kid was a douche bag.

The next bunch of kids that came were dressed almost identically as the first bunch, and if I didn’t know any better I could have sworn it was the same kids coming to get more. I didn’t really care though, because I was giving them shitty chocolate that I didn’t want anyway, but when one of the kids goes ‘oh chocolate!’ in what sounded like a really put on shock, I was more that suspicious. I remembered what the kids were dressed as, so if they came back I would tell them not to come back, or offer them the other end of the sausage. This was the last of the trick or treaters that came to my house, or at least the last ones that I greeted. I turned my music on full blast after those ones so for all I know there were more but I just didn’t hear them. Either way, I am happy with that whole sausage incident, I hope that kid learnt his lesson and never comes back here for Halloween ever, ever, ever again... ever.

Okay, so I just caught Moltres, and... Oh my god I am so happy. I don’t really remember this part of the game, but I am in that cave that takes you to the Indigo Plateau where you fight the Elite Four, and I got kind of lost but then I saw this bird, I went to talk to it, like you do when there is a bird in a cave that is as tall as you and then it said ‘Gulaawoo’ or something and then it was a Moltres and I was so scared, then I caught it and I was so happy and... Oh my god, words can’t describe how happy I am. I did it all by myself because the tips that Chris Vangopoulos were giving me were ridiculous and then I caught it with my Ultra Ball so I didn’t even have to waste my Master Ball and Mebakas is really proud and impressed and jealous of my Pokémon Yellow abilities and I am so happy...
