The first win.

The much unpublicised, first game for Sealio FC was held last night at 6:50PM. The game saw only a small crowd of Thomas’s and Anna-Lisa but to say that the crowd was pleased would be an extreme understatement, because Sealio FC dominated with an end score of 6-3. I’m sure that if you went to the TAB and wanted to place a bet on Andrew Heinicke scoring the first goal of the season for Sealio FC, once you have explained what Sealio FC is and who Andrew Heinicke is, he or she would tell you that the odds are severely against you. Well whoever made that bet, which was probably no one but still, if you made that bet, it sure paid off because while simply clearing the ball, it somehow went in. The other side’s goalie tried to calm Sealio FC’s celebrations by saying that it wasn’t that good of a goal but I hushed his negativity with a loud ‘oh come on’.

The celebrations were soon shut down when those other two goals were scored by the opposition, and at this point Sealio FC and the four fans were not looking sky high with hopes, chances are they were looking at the game where they should be looking, or maybe checking the time on their phone or something but yeah, it was shit. The silence was then unsilenced when Brett and Chris scored simultaneously putting Sealio ahead 2-3. Raman Pooni then scored the miracle goal that, as Chris just stated, ‘Yeah I don’t know how you are going to explain that but good luck.’ But what sort of happened was he like, dribbled around three guys or something and it was kind of ridiculous and I really don’t know how to explain it but yeah, it was a miracle, and then he scored.

It was then half time, the score was tight at 4-2 but Sealio FC still had the edge over the opponents of whom I don’t know the name of. The anonymous opponents scored another goal bringing the difference between teams at only a goal, but Sealio FC scored another two goals in the second half that secured victory, one by Chris and another half way ripper by Jack Sanders that set the crowd off. The game ended then and there, at 6-3, Sealio FC had secured their first win, now on top of the ladder (maybe) with a one hundred percent winning ratio. Can they keep it up? Yes they can.
