Mint Slice is a powerful chocolate. It tastes great, it has that thin layer of mint surrounded by that layer of chocolate biscuit all coated in chocolate...it's just a choc mint orgasm. I never really noticed the power it had over people until recently, I always knew it has the power over people's taste buds, that's why people ate them I guess...but what I didn't know is that it has the power to ruin relationships. I was advertised as a family chocolate, one that you can crack open and let the whole family indulge themselves in and everyone is satisfied with the smooth tasting chocolate and the minty fresh aftertaste.
To be honest, I prefer Tim Tams. It isn't just the general taste that I think is better but I think that you taste more chocolate and less mint which is a plus, when in a Mint Slice the complete aftertaste is just mint, fresh, yes, but chocolaty, no. Not only that, but how many relationships have been completely ruined by Tim Tams? None that I know of at least, and that sure is not the case with Mint Slice.
There isn't much worth saying really, you probably know the story. In case you don't know, I'll give you the basic gist. Chrisman, who has been mentioned in countless blogs before this, and by countless, I mean eight...plus this one, so after you read this it would be nine. Anyway, after finding out how much Rachel Dodman likes mint slice, he decided to bring a pack to school to share with Rachel. I'm not sure what his intentions were with Rachel, I personally think he was just being nice. The main part of the story though, and this is where the plot really thickens, is that Rachel did not even come to school that day. So instead of saving the Mint Slice for the next day when Rachel may or may not have been at school, he decides to share them all with everyone else at school, there was one sitting left, pretty much everyone who wanted Mint Slice has had it by now, including myself. The one left was taken though, taken by Kenny Liu. Not only did he take it, but he also ate it.
The story leaked over Facebook, and soon enough everyone who had the internet found out, that means even T-Bag found out. The relationship between Chris and Rachel really took a turn for the worst, why? I don't know...well I do, but I haven't decided who should be faulted for this. Should it be Rachel for not coming in the first place to share the Mint Slice? Should it be Chris's for sharing the mint slice and not waiting for Rachel? Should it be Kenny for eating the last chocolate coated mint biscuit, or should it be T-Bag for getting the internet?
I don't think that I am in the right position to be pointing the finger and deciding who was in the wrong...my opinion is that T-Bag is to blame but that's just me. It is up to you I guess, your opinion...who's fault was this?
