The Zombieland.

It isn’t often that I watch a movie that keeps my heart beating faster than it should be for the entire film, but I just finished watching one of those movies that did that for me, and it is called Zombieland. Jesse put Zombieland on my USB a long time ago, like before it was even out at cinemas, but I am the kind of person that will let something sit there for a while before I watch it. I don’t know why, I guess I normally go out and do other things, but seeing as though I didn’t leave the house at all today, I made the most of my time. By ‘the most of my time’, I mean that I caught the legendary Pokémon Heatran in Pokémon Platinum, I finalised what I want my six Pokémon to be for the rest of the game and I watched Zombieland.

My favourite movie ever is Dawn of the Dead, but that changes from time to time. Sometimes I’ll say my favourite movie is Transformers, sometimes it’s Napoleon Dynamite and sometimes its Watchmen or Sin City, but right now it is Dawn of the Dead, and it has been for like, six months. I always say that I love zombie movies, and I do, but most zombie movies are shit. I love the idea of zombies, and I love how each zombie movie or story has its own idea of how you kill a zombie, how you become a zombie and how the zombie outbreak started. Dawn of the Dead is my favourite zombie movie for a few reasons, and one of those reasons is that the zombies aren’t slow, they are fast zombies. Fast zombies are not only scarier, but they are more entertaining to watch.

The zombie outbreak is something that I really can’t see happening, especially seeing as though the world is going to end in 2012, I just don’t think that there is going to be enough time for it to happen. It is sad I guess, I mean I would love to have lived through to the zombie outbreak, not because I think I would do necessarily well in it but just because I could say that I did. I guess that living until 2012 is just as good though, I mean either way I am pretty much living until the end of the world so I’ll take either, just that 2012 makes for a much worse movie than the zombie outbreak does. Zombieland, much like Dawn of the Dead, gives you absolutely no information on how the outbreak happens, which is what I love. I mean seriously, who cares how it started, it’s a zombie movie, you don’t want a story line, you just want to see zombie killing, and that is literally all that Zombieland is.

Earlier today, in my day of sitting in my room on my broken laptop, Caitlin was telling me about how there is a new Lady Gaga album, which shocked me, okay maybe shock isn’t the right word, but I didn’t know that there was a new Lady Gaga album, and especially because she released her last one like, a little over a year ago and I just thought it was fast for a new album to be out. The new album is called The Fame Monster and it only has eight songs on it, and out of those eight songs I only really enjoyed like... three of them. Caitlin said that the album isn’t terrible, so I guess I was expecting better than what it was but thinking about it, the album wasn’t terrible, I mean it isn’t as bad as like, the 3OH!3 album, but it still wasn’t that good. I was left in what you could call a disappointed state, but luckily this disappointment was completely erased when I caught Heatran, the legendary Pokémon, and then my mood which you could call extreme happiness was then increased when I watched Zombieland.

Zombieland is, in a nutshell, a movie that tells you the rules of which you should follow in the zombie apocalypse. It has four main characters, one of them was the one from Superbad that Seth likes, and she looks a hell of a lot hotter in this than she did back in Superbad, and I thought she was fucking hot in Superbad. The other three all look familiar but I don’t know what they are from, or even if they are from anything. Zombieland, unlike 2012, does a really good job of making you love the characters, and when you feel that one of them are in danger, your heart is beating, and seeing as though that is pretty much all the time, your heart will be beating from the start of the film. I just went on IMDB so I could find out if any of the actors/actresses are from anything that I have seen before, and one of them is from 2012 which made me a little bit sad, but once again this sadness was removed when I saw that there is a sequel to Zombieland already in the works. I am so extremely pumped for this movie already, but I am also pumped to play some more Pokémon, so I’m going to cut it out here and end this by saying, go and see Zombieland!
